本日のASⅢでは、３年生が先日提出した研究論文の相互評価を行いました。１時間で自分の研究班以外の論文を２つ読み、10項目の評価基準に沿ってそれぞれ３段階で評価をします。

　お互いの研究についての基礎知識があるとはいえ、5,000字を超える論文をじっくりと時間をかけて読み、評価するのは思ったより大変なようで、それぞれ評価シートとにらめっこしながら、真剣に評価やコメントを書いていました。

　この相互評価は、評価された側の生徒が、自分たちの論文のどこを改善すべきかを知る機会になることはもちろん、評価する側の生徒の「読む力」を育てる活動でもあります。クラスメイトの論文を読んで良いところを褒めるだけでなく、どこをどうすれば更に良くなるのかを的確に指摘できるか... なかなか難しい部分もありますが、この活動がお互いに学び合い、高め合う機会となってほしいものです。　

　今日のASⅡ・Ⅲは、ARP探究成果発表会で心がけたいことについての確認と共有から始まりました。２年生は発表時の「分かりやすい言葉」や「視線」、発表資料の「視覚に訴える工夫」、３年生では「ジェスチャーや表情」「聴衆と会話をする」「自信を持って質疑を行う」といった意見が出ました。様々な発表経験を通して、発表内容と発表技術、どちらも磨いていってくれることと思います。

　さて、本日の主な活動は、２年生は発表会で使用するポスター作成、３年生は本評価です。２年生は、以前作った研究計画書を元にして実験のデータなどを加え、分かりやすいポスターになるように知恵を出し合っています。その頃、３年生はそれぞれの担当者とC2（結論を導く）の評価を行っています。これまでの研究において、仮説の検証をどのように行ったかなど、一人ひとり、自分の言葉で丁寧に説明してくれました。

　さぁ、いよいよARP探究成果最終発表会まで、あと１週間です。ASクラスのリーダーシップにより、発表者・聴衆双方にとって、学びの多い会になることを期待しています！

   In today's AS II and III, students first shared their ideas on what they should pay attention to in preparation for the ARP Exploratory Results Presentation. For example , some students said “eye contact” during the presentation and “visually appealing devices” are important, while some others said “gestures and facial expressions” and “asking questions with confidence” are very important. We teachers were happy to see their bright ideas! Through experiencing a variety of presentations, they will surely improve both the content and technique of their presentations.

　Today's main activities are poster making (the 2nd year students) and the evaluation (the 3rd year students). Everyone was busily but happily preparing for their presentations. Now, we are just one week away from the final presentation of the ARP research results, and I hope that their leadership will make it a learning experience for both the presenters and the audience!

　本日はE２の本評価と提言書の締切日でした。E２（地域を創造する）では、実験や調査の結果やそれらを根拠とした提案を地域に示すことができたかを問います。生徒はこれまでの研究でどのように地域とつながってきたか、また、地域の企業や自治体などと連携をしてきたかを本評価を通して振り返っていました。

　評価が終わった生徒たちは、いよいよ本日が最終締切となった提言書の仕上げに取り組みます。提言書の中で、生徒たちはこれまでの研究結果をふまえ、地域課題の解決のための提案を具体的に数値とともに示すことを期待されています。控室・本評価実施教室・評価後の待機室は全て分かれており、全ての班員が顔を合わせて作業ができるわけではありません。別の場所にいながらも班員たちが協力し合えるのは、一人一台端末でドキュメントを共有して編集を行う仕組みが整っているからです（便利な時代になったものですね！）。さて、各班、提言書の中でしっかり根拠を示し、説得力のある提言ができているのでしょうか。締切まであと１時間、がんばって！

    Today ATⅡstudents had their last evaluation, E2 (Creating a Community) , which asks whether they were able to show the results based on their research to the community. Through this evaluation, students reflected on how they have connected with the community in their research, and how they have collaborated with local businesses and communities.

　After the evaluation, the students worked on their final proposals, which are due today. In their proposals, they are expected to present concrete and numerical proposals for solving local issues based on the results of their research. Since students had their evaluation interview separately, not all group members were able to work face to face. Still, they could communicate with each other and edit their proposals by sharing a document on a computer. Hope all went well, also, we are all looking forward to reading your persuasive proposals. 　本日のASⅢでは、E1（提案を創造する）、E2（地域を創造する）の２つの本評価を実施しました。生徒たちはパソコン室でまず自己評価（評価シートに記入）をし、それぞれの担当者が待つ部屋に向かいます。先行研究を活かすことができたか、地域にどのような提案ができたか、地域と連携して研究を進めることができたかなど、合わせて１１の評価項目について、しっかり自分の言葉で説明することができていました。

　面談が終わった生徒たちは、論文のリライトに取り組みます。先日提出した論文に加えるのは、「継続研究する後輩へのアドバイス」と「天草市に対して貢献できること」の２項目です。AS（天草サイエンス）の総まとめのASⅢ。ASⅠ～ASⅢの３年間、地域に密着した研究をしてきた人も、そうでない人も、何らかの形で研究の成果を天草市 に還元し、地域とつながりつづけていってほしいと思っています。

    Today in AS III, we conducted two evaluations, E1 (Creating a proposal) and E2 (Creating a community). The students first completed their self-evaluation by filling out the evaluation sheet in the computer room and then went to the rooms where their respective supervisors were waiting for them. In the interview, the students were able to explain in their own words, including whether they were able to make use of their previous research, what proposals they were able to make to the community, and whether they were able to promote their research in cooperation with the community.

　After the interviews were over, the students worked on rewriting their paper as a summary of AS (Amakusa Science) classes. We hope everyone can return the results of their research to Amakusa City in some way and continue to be connected with the local community.

　本日のATⅡでは、本評価を行いました。今回実施したE1（提案を創造する）の評価では、先行研究を自分たちの研究に活かせているか、地域課題解決のための新たな方法を提案できたかなどの質問をします。いつものように担当者との面談形式で行われた本評価のそれぞれの会場で、生徒たちはやや緊張した面持ちで、２年間行ってきた研究について一生懸命説明をしていました。

　生徒たちは並行して「提言書」の推敲を行っています。今日は、ATⅡ（３年生）担当の先生方からのコメントを参照し、より説得力のある文章になるよう知恵を出し合っていました。いよいよ、来週は提言書の最終締切日。みんなの研究成果と知恵をぎゅっと詰め込んだ提言書が、天草市をより魅力的な「宝島」にする一歩になることを願っています。

  We had evaluation interviews in today’s ATII class. This time, we had E1, which evaluates on “Creating Proposals,”, and of course all the students did their best. Each tried hard to explain their research in their own words, by answering questions such as the use of previous research or ways to solve regional problems.

   Students who finished the interview-style evaluations, worked on editing their proposals to the city.They were discussing how to make their proposals more persuasive by referring to the comments of their teachers. The final deadline for the proposal is coming up next week. We hope that their proposals will have everyone's wisdom to make Amakusa even more attractive “Treasure Islands.”
