Hello everyone! It's Losaline here.

At the beginning of June, Maya and I were on a mission to create an introduction video for the new ALTs. We wanted them to feel excited about joining Amakusa High School and to enjoy their experience here as much as we do!

The first step was filming. We visited each of our classes and recorded the students saying, "Welcome to Amakusa High School!" while also introducing their class.

みなさん、こんにちは！ロサリネです。

6月の初めに、マヤ先生と一緒に新しく赴任するALTの先生方に向けた紹介動画の制作に取り組みました。先生方に天草高校での生活を楽しみにしてもらい、私たちと同じように充実した時間を過ごしてほしいという思いを込めて作成しました。

まずは撮影からスタートしました。各クラスを訪問し、生徒のみなさんに「天草高校へようこそ！」という歓迎のメッセージとクラス紹介をしてもらい、その様子を動画に収めました。

 Next came the editing process. I wanted to create a video that was fun, vibrant, and reflected the bright atmosphere of Amakusa High School. So, what better song to use in the background than "Candy Tune," which also brought back memories of the Cultural Festival and the Golden Coat Legend!

次に取り組んだのは動画編集です。天草高校の明るく活気あふれる雰囲気が伝わる、楽しい動画にしたいと考えました。そこでBGMには、昨年度の文化祭に登場した金ピカスーツレジェンド（圧倒的歌唱力を披露したI先生）を思い起こさせる「Candy Tune」を選びました。 

 I really enjoyed making this video, and I hope the students enjoyed being a part of it too.

A huge thank you to our JTEs, who were just as enthusiastic as we were about bringing this project to life. A special thank you also goes to the students who, despite filming during the last period for some classes, still brought energy and enthusiasm.

動画制作はとても楽しい経験となりました。生徒のみなさんにも、撮影を楽しみながら参加してもらえていたらうれしく思います。

このプロジェクトの実現にあたり、私たちと同じ熱意をもって協力してくださった英語科の先生方に心より感謝申し上げます。また、一部のクラスでは午後の最後の授業時間での撮影となりましたが、最後まで明るく元気に協力してくれた生徒のみなさんにも、改めてお礼を伝えたいと思います。
