本日の生徒朝礼の中で、ALTのゾーイ先生を送る会がありました。昨年度から天草高校にご勤務いただいたゾーイ先生ですが、医師になるという夢を叶えるために６月末をもってアメリカに帰国されることになりました。いつも明るく笑顔で、いつも私たちに元気をくれたゾーイ先生。本日のお別れ会では、ゾーイ先生にご挨拶をいただいた後、生徒会の上口さんが英語でお礼の言葉を述べ、生徒全員で" We love Zoe!"のサプライズ。...さみしさを感じながらも、みんなが１つになったお別れ会でした。

"Good morning, everybody!

I’m leaving Japan at the end of this month. In America, I will study to become a doctor at Duke University. I’m sad to say goodbye to Amataka and to all you lovely students.

I had so much fun practicing English with you, hosting the English (E.S.S.) Club, and even running the school marathon. I’ll always remember my time here!

Thank you to the school leadership, my supervisors, and all the teachers that were so kind to me.

Please welcome the new ALT, and keep on studying English hard!
