In two weeks, I’m flying home to America. I can’t believe so much time has passed since I arrived last August! It’s true that time flies when you’re having fun–I loved my time at Amakusa High School, and I certainly had lots of fun while here. It was an honor to teach wonderful students and work with great teachers.

Two new ALTs will come in August. To welcome them, we did a special activity in E.S.S. Club. We made posters, which the students will give to the ALTs when they arrive. I’m sure the new teachers will be very excited to meet our English Club members. I took some photos to share!

I know that the new ALTs will love Amakusa and Amataka just as much as me. Thank you so much for an unforgettable year. I hope to visit again!!!

2週間後にはアメリカへ帰国します。去年の8月に着任してから、こんなに時間が経ってしまったなんて信じられません！楽しい時は時間が経つのが本当に早いですね。天草高校で過ごした時間は本当に楽しかったですし、本当に楽しかったです。素晴らしい生徒たちを教え、素晴らしい先生方とお仕事できたことは光栄でした。

8月には新しいALTが2名来校します。彼らを歓迎するために、E.S.S.クラブで特別なアクティビティを行いました。ポスターを作り、生徒たちがALTが着任した際に渡します。新しい先生方は、英語クラブのメンバーに会えるのをとても楽しみにしてくれると思います。写真を撮ったので、皆さんにシェアしたいと思います！

新しいALTの皆さんも、私と同じように天草と天高を気に入ってくれると確信しています。忘れられない1年間をありがとうございました。またぜひ訪れたいと思っています！
